I have both. The Bose S1 pro excells in live sound, as in karaoke or any voice applications in general. It is extremely loud( it can be ear piercing). It's not necessarily made for recorded music. That's where the JBL partybox comes in. It has a great punchy rumble. It plays streaming music perfectly. It also gets loud. ( I have the 320 so the 110/120 would be just not as loud). But the combination of the 2 for karaoke or live sound is absolutely top notch. That's just my 2 cents. Thanks for the video.

How much budjet price

How is are they to pair in true stereo? Do they pair immediately or do you have to fiddle with the buttons or app to achieve teue stereo?

JBL, harman is just good for computer speakers, but bose just like at thenhigh end.

The Bose is actually worth more than it's being sold for.

Sony Ult 7 o XV500?

When playing music from RUclips on the the speaker, the volume button doesn't change the volume instead changes the RUclips programmes. So I have to adjust tge volume from my phone.

When unboxing the box I was underwhelmed at first about the sound quality. After installing the App and playing around with the equalizer I found a setting that is in my opinion even better than the standard setting. There’s no magic happening and the sound is nothing really special, but now with the custom equalizer it’s pretty good for the prize I paid.

I picked this one up when it came out. Very nice, take it to work daily and took it camping. In normal mode it still sounds good even sitting about 20 ft away. I usually listen to it at about 30-40% and on one charge had about 18 hrs on it and it still says normal battery life 😳

JBL has Alien technology 😁 Despite having smaller drivers, it still produces way deeper and stronger bass.

can auracast produce stereo sound?

I got the Sony XV500 - and the sound quality is great. I only heard the 120 against in the store (against the xv500) and I found the XV500 more clear and natural sounding. To me the XV500 sounded the best of alle partybox speakers they had in the store (even better than Sonys bigger brother xv800) . Just a perfect mix of clearness, openness and warmth and non-harshness. The JBL is definitely significantly louder and harder hitting (if that's what you are looking for), though, especially when running on battery. The xv500 increases volume and bass significantly when plugged in. So yes, as said in the video, max volume on battery is much better with the JBL. JBL also ha swappable battery, which is nice. Sony has battery care mode at leats, which will hopefully prolong the lifespan of the battery I chose the Sony over the JBL because I already have some smaller Sony speakers to pair with. So wíthout that, I might have gone with JBL, though I would need more listening time to the JBL to see if it can match the plesant audio quality of the xv500 in the long run.

Nice video Which one do you recommend, Sonos five or JBL 500? I'm looking for fidelity and powerful bass but that doesn't saturate the other frequencies.

hmm, sounds boxy. and not much above 6kHz. for those how would say now that it is about the microphone and then about the preamp and then about youtube compression and then about your iphone speaker - YES, that's why it makes no sense to upload sound tests.
